Jessica, Practice Manager/Veterinary Technician

Jessica began her career in Veterinary Medicine in 2002, in New York where she was born and raised.  She worked at a busy 10 doctor, day and emergency practice. This is where she found her passion for emergency medicine.  In July 2012, she and her now-husband Dennis made the 2,761 mile journey across the country to San Diego.  She began working at PBVC on July 11, 2012.  She started as a technician and receptionist but found that she wanted more.  Jessica is now the practice manager at PBVC and will be sitting for her CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) Licensing Exam mid 2018.  When Jessica is not at work you can find her enjoying time with her 2 year old daughter Caylee, her husband Dennis, and her two silly looking terrier mixes Matilda and Penelope.  They enjoy going to the San Diego Zoo and enjoying all the wonderful events that San Diego has to offer.

Rose, Shift Supervisor/Veterinary Technician

Rose started at Pacific Beach Vet on October 30, 2010 and has been laughing and crying alongside our clients ever since.  When she's not spending time with her 4 legged children (4 cats and a cattle dog named Nightwyze), she is watching food networks as a self-proclaimed food nut/cook and writing fiction stories in her spare time.  Rose also is an avid gamer on PS4 (it's not just for the guys!) and a bit of a technology nerd, so  you may see her around San Diego in a local Gamestop or Best Buy, if she's not trying out (and judging) a new place to eat.

Lauren, Marketing/Veterinary Technician

Lauren began her career in the Veterinary field in 2000. She started working at VCA Grossmont Animal Hospital as a front desk receptionist while she attended ROP classes for Veterinary Assistant.  Later that year she began her career as an assistant and began working in the back helping with blood draws, exams, vaccinations, and routine spay and neuters.  In 2002 Lauren began working in specialty as an animal dermatology technician.  Lauren stayed in the dermatology field  for about 6 years and then began a career in ER and ICU , where she learned a lot about emergency medicine and enjoyed the experience.  In late 2008 Lauren got pregnant with her second son and decided to leave the veterinary field while she was pregnant.  In October 2010 Lauren began working at Pacific Beach Veterinary Clinic as a receptionist/Vet tech and has now become our Office Supervisor/Marketing manager and is looking forward to helping in the growth of Pacific Beach Veterinary Clinic.  When Lauren isn't at the clinic she is home taking care of her small farm.  Lauren has an 18 year old son, Austin and an 8 year old son named Madden.  Lauren recently got marrried to her long time boyfriend Dan and together they own 4 French Bulldogs, 1 Boston Terrier, 2 kittens, 2 birds and a fish tank so in her free time she has her hands prety full.

Olivia, Receptionist

Olivia started here in Aiugust 2017. Her love for animals first started when she was a child. She has always had pets and loved taking care of animals. As she got older the passion stayed the same. Olivia finally managed to get into her dream school, UC Davis. Studying there she figured out what she wanted to do with her life, preservation of species. She wanted to be a Veterinarian for large, wild and exotic animals. Olivia would also like to be a doctor without borders. She has always wanted to travel and save animals and her major allows that. As of right now she's working on vet teching until she can finish school and keep taking care of her mom. Some of her hobbies include ecxercise (all types: kickboxing, martial arts, running, strength training, swimming, biking, sports, etc.), it definitely helps that she is a personal trainer. Other hobbies include, movies, drawing, writing, dancing, going on aventures and hanging out with friends. She loves pets, but doesn't have much time for them but that is OK because her mom has a service dog named Bella, that they take care of. Bella is really cute and is a really special chihuahua to her mom and Olivia. She really loves working at PBVC, it has definitely gotten closer to the life and goals she's currently moving towards.

Donna, Groomer

Donna graduated from grooming school in 1976.  She has been grooming for over 30 years now and is a top notch groomer.  After years of working for other grooming companies, she decided to venture out and open up her own grooming shop called Paw Alley.  Donna owned and managaed her shop for 17 years before she decided she wanted to retire.  After 3 years of retirement, Donna missed all of her clients and their pets and decided to get back into grooming.  In August 2009 she started grooming at Pacific Beach Veterinary Clinic, where she is continuing her grooming career.  When Donna isn't grooming she likes to spend time with Ginger, her beloved Vizsla, and her two cats, Buttercup and Alvin.
